Question 1

How fast can you get to Rockrimmon if I call at night or on a weekend?

Accepted Answer

We dispatch from our Colorado Springs base as soon as you call. Most Rockrimmon locations near Rockrimmon Boulevard and Austin Bluffs Parkway see our truck within 45 minutes to 1 hour of initial contact. We maintain 24/7 staffing specifically so you don't wait.

Question 2

What do I do before you arrive—can I start cleanup myself?

Accepted Answer

Stop active leaks if it's safe to do so (shut off water at the main). Remove people and pets from danger. Do not enter fire-damaged areas, move wet belongings, or disturb potential mold. Your safety and preservation of evidence matter more than early cleanup. We'll document and handle the rest.

Question 3

Do you work with insurance companies?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We photograph and document everything on scene, provide detailed reports, and coordinate directly with your adjuster. We don't bill you upfront for emergency response; we file with your claim. Ask us about your coverage when you call.

Question 4

Can mold start growing in our crawl space before we even notice water damage?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Rockrimmon's freeze-thaw cycles and hillside drainage patterns mean crawl spaces can accumulate moisture slowly. Mold can begin within 24–48 hours. That's why our emergency assessment includes crawl space inspection and humidity testing, even if you don't see visible water yet.

Question 5

How long will drying take, and will my home be unlivable during that time?

Accepted Answer

Drying time depends on damage extent and humidity levels. A small water event may take 3–5 days; major floods can take 1–2 weeks. Our goal is to restore livability quickly. We'll tell you on Day 1 what to expect and adjust equipment based on daily moisture readings.

Question 6

What if the emergency happens in the early morning and I need to contact you—is someone always there?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our 24/7 line is (719) 282-0997. There is always a trained dispatcher ready to dispatch a response team. You will not reach an answering service or a recording during an emergency.
