Question 1

Can you really respond 24/7 in Pueblo West?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We staff an emergency dispatch line every day and night. When you call (719) 282-0997, a technician is assigned immediately and will arrive as quickly as traffic and road conditions allow—whether it's 3 a.m. on Highway 50 or Sunday evening near Spurgeon Avenue.

Question 2

What should I do before you arrive?

Accepted Answer

If it's safe to do so, shut off water at the main valve for pipe breaks, turn off electricity if there's standing water, and move valuables away from the affected area. Don't try to dry out the space yourself—we need to assess moisture levels accurately. If there's an active fire or gas smell, evacuate and call 911.

Question 3

Do you work with insurance companies?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We document everything with photos and detailed notes that support your claim. We can answer your adjuster's questions and coordinate access for inspections. Our report becomes part of your damage record.

Question 4

How long does it take to dry out a flooded basement or water damage?

Accepted Answer

Drying time depends on the size of the area, materials involved, humidity, and outdoor conditions. A typical basement might take 3–7 days with proper equipment running continuously. We monitor moisture levels and adjust our equipment as needed. We'll give you a realistic timeline after the initial assessment.

Question 5

What if the damage happened in one of the Pueblo West subdivisions and I'm not sure how to describe my location?

Accepted Answer

Give us your street address and a nearby landmark—we have detailed maps of Pueblo West and Pueblo County. If you're on or near McCulloch Boulevard, Highway 50, or Spurgeon Avenue, mention that too. We'll find you and get a team there fast.

Question 6

Do you handle mold discovery during an emergency call?

Accepted Answer

If we suspect mold during the assessment, we'll identify it, explain what we found, and recommend whether professional mold remediation is needed. We don't always treat mold on the first visit, but we always document it so you and your insurance company know what's there.
