Question 1

What do I do the moment I discover damage—before I call Restoration King?

Accepted Answer

First, make sure everyone is safe. Turn off electricity at the breaker if there's standing water. Shut off the main water valve if a pipe burst. Move valuables to dry ground if you safely can. Then call us immediately at (719) 282-0997. Don't wait until morning. The longer water sits, the more damage spreads.

Question 2

Can you respond in the middle of the night or on weekends?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We staff 24/7 emergency dispatch. Call (719) 282-0997 any time—3 a.m., Sunday, holiday. A trained tech will answer, gather details, and dispatch a crew to Florence or Fremont County as fast as possible. Response time depends on where you are and weather, but we prioritize urgent calls.

Question 3

Will my insurance cover the emergency response?

Accepted Answer

Most homeowner and commercial policies cover emergency water, fire, and mold response as part of the damage claim. We document everything professionally so your adjuster has a clear record. Bring your policy details when you call, and we'll explain what we're doing and why. Your adjuster may also contact us directly for details.

Question 4

How long does drying usually take after water damage?

Accepted Answer

It depends on how much water, what got wet, and your home's layout. A small bathroom pipe break might dry in 3–5 days with proper equipment. Widespread basement flooding can take 1–2 weeks or longer. We'll give you an honest estimate after we assess. Fremont County humidity and the season also affect drying time. We monitor moisture daily and adjust if needed.

Question 5

Do you work on Highway 115 and downtown Florence properties equally well?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We service all of Fremont County, including Highway 115 corridors, downtown Florence, rural properties, and the Cañon City area. Location doesn't change our response time or quality. We have the equipment and crew flexibility to reach any property in the county.

Question 6

What if the damage looks small but I'm worried about mold?

Accepted Answer

Call us. Even small water events—a slow leak under the sink, a roof drip—can hide moisture in walls and crawl spaces. Mold can start growing within 24–48 hours. Our emergency inspection will check hidden areas and tell you if there's a mold risk. It's better to catch it early than wait and find a major problem later.
